Katy @ Thanksgiving, 1997
We celebrated Thanksgiving up in the wine country. Steve's sister, Fran, came. Traditional turkey dinner and a very relaxing time. You will notice a few things about Katy in these pictures: She is standing on her own, she likes to read books and, although not evident in still pictures, likes to get into everything.
Here are Katy, Jami and Fran before we sat down to dinner.... And Fran with Katy on the deck - note Cupcake the resident cat to Katy's left.
Katy loves to read books, although the computer and software reference manuals that I have given her are not yet her favorites.
We put up netting all along the loft -- since it is something like twelve feet to the floor below. It is probably not a surprise that Katy gravitates right to the netting -- testing it out, I think. Of course she also gravitates to the electric outlets, the computer wiring, the cat and just about everything else that is considered verbotten.
