So, we took a day and went over to Half Moon Bay before the Pumpkin Festival.  I nice picnic at the Oberstar Winery and a romp in the pumkin patch -- complete with a petting zoo.  We also took some time up in the wine country to visit California's largest lake (by surface area).  Of course, none of us had any idea that was so until we stopped at the tourist info booth.

First, the search for the great pumpkin...

And then, the trip to the big lake (clear Lake, I think).

And, a merry old time on the swing - Katy's first!
