Mother's Day '98 & the Texas Tornado
Let's start with Mother's Day. Katy got a wonderful new dress with flowers for
buttons - loves it! She also received a buggy from
the Bruck's. At the same time she has discovered insects - to which she has a deep
aversion. She calls them 'buggas.' That means it was pretty easy for her to
learn two words at the same time - one for insects and one for her buggy:
While wheeling the buggy around the driveway, she stops to
give Bimbo a hug (or 'hugga') from time to time,
unless Bimbo has successfully made
her escape. The other use for the buggy is as her nerf ball carrier.
All in all it was a great Mother's
Day - and here is the special person herself, with Katie.
So that takes us to the new playset. I think it is just like the one we had in
the backyard in Minnesota. You already saw the slide on the home page - the hit of the
